The unit is a combination of an automatic roller blind and photo-voltaic system. Electricity is produced by the photo-voltaic unit, which is installed on the top of the roof of the Würth International office building.

This means that the skylights are fitted alternately with an electronically controlled roller bind system and a semi-transparent photo-voltaic unit. In order to have sufficient light entering the courtyard of the building, the photo-voltaic elements are applied in stripes of 1 cm width.Our unit is bearing the quality label aturemade star.
The electricity produced by this photo-voltaic unit is entirely used by Würth International itself.The unit was created and installed by the company Würth Elektronik GmbH.
